Mangusta boats

Just back from Europe and observed several Mangusta big yachts with what looked to me I/Os instead of regular direct drive.
Does anybody know what they are?

Mangusta yachts are equipped with Rolls Royce Kamewa waterjet propulsion. Here's a good article to explain why jet drives are used on superyachts.
