I was wondering if someone could help be out with a broken part. Mainly wondering what it is called and where a good place to find one would be.I need to get a manual, I've only had the boat and motor a few days though.
It is a Chrysler model 122HD 12.9 hp Serial #55XX. I was moving the pin and the tab broke, probably not that uncommon since the plastic is probably over 30 years old. Here are some pictures. I guess I could get a stainless bolt and wing nut to do the same job but would rather have the factory or similar clip on piece.
With the weight and force of the motor pushing against the pin it probably isn't going to come out anyway and it wouldn't be a disaster or anything if it did.Just like having the correct pieces.
Any advice and ideas are greatly appreciated.Thanks.
