I'm in the planning stages for a short trip for my 17 y/o son & I for his spring break mid-April. I'd like to fly into either Miami or Fort Lauderdale, rent a car and drive down the keys. I'm looking for a nice little hotel that we can stay at, rent a small boat for a few days and go fishing - inshore or on the bay. Don't really care what we catch - just looking for some fun. Need to have some inexpensive places to eat near-by. Anyone have any particular suggestions in the Marathon area - any places to avoid??
