I left a bunch of anodes including the one for my thruster. Its a Vetus 55Kg model and the anode goes behind the prop. The marina painted the bottom and did the rest of the anodes, but thought the Vetus anode was wrong because they have only seen cone shaped outer prop nut versions.
Long story short, the boat was dropped and the anode was not installed. I asked the mechanic and he said he would re-pull the boat and install, but with a bronze housing and plastic propeller, I shouldn't have any issues. The darn thing is so small that I assume its gone in the salt water by 1/4 of the season, but do you all think? Have them repull or stop worrying?
