On Saturday I received the bill from my marina and the rates went up (not very high though). It has been like this for the past 2 years. I have changed marinas but obviously I cannot continue because everybody does the same.
A friend called me this morning and his boat yard went from $120 to $250 this month. Now, THIS is a big increase for a crappy place where you have to keep the boat on a trailer and they don't even allow people to work on their boats.
This is a scary trend for boaters on a budget.
