Was curious as to how many years Marine Batteries last before they should be replaced?
I know most vehicles have batteries that can last up to 5 years, but I hear it's not the case with marine batteries.
I have 2004 Chaparral 204ssi with a 5.0 engine and I have 2 Exide Marine "Maintainence Free" batteries. In the winter, I keep the batteries in my basement, which is around room temperature and I'm wondering how many years I can get out of them?
