I've also had lots of "fun" with the service from MM on Long Island.
I just needed some really basic stuff on my new boat - replace a couple bolt-on parts that could have been mailed to me. The list did grow a little, but about 25 calls and four months later its finally fixed. Complete aggrevation. I had to get my sales guy to lean on the service dept and threaten to make a ruckus at the boat shows. The sales team was great, service writers have not been good. At least their Ambassador status means that the trips to my boat were free. One thing they did do was vacuum my carpet when they left - they cleaned up the dirty footprints that I left on the rug.
BTW, I'm very pleased with the boat.
I'm considering buying a fishing arch for my boat, but after this experience am very reluctant to get one from MM.
