Need a "Marine" Refrigeration mechanic to trouble shoot a Refrigeration unit on a POST . This is no NOR**** refrigerator. A marina is asking for this so I would assume the usual suspects already had there shots and messed up.

Thanx

Ridgewood Refrigeration.......Myrtle Ave in Ridgewood ..................I heard they are the best in town !!!! :)

The owner is always on his boat, If you want service they need to hail him on channel 16. :)

How sad 133 views and no one can RECC someone !!! Says alot about the boating industry!

Maybe I missed something, thought you were looking for an R/O who did this work. I used Marine Specialists and they fixed my fridge a couple years back.

I'm curious, why does it have to be a marine mechanic I would bet a regular refrigerator repair man can handle this. If I had a problem, I would call the local appliance repair shop to see what they say.

Usually a regular refrigeration mechanic would not be familiar with a dual voltage unit . As well as dealing with and getting to the remote part that may be in the bilge. Never mind dis-assembly of cabinets that may be required on much larger vessels. An old school mechanic may have time and patience to figure it out but that's about it. ( IMHO ) I own a commercial a/c and heating business. You don't see me jumping in... Marine Refrigeration sucks.

I will second using Marine Specialists. Mike has worked on my genset, a/c units as well as icemaker.

I wood recommend Mike at Marine Specialists 631-580-0545 Great service and A nice boater guy as well.

I too have used Marine Specialists for my generator, the experience was great.

Ditto, just fixed mine.
Clean, leaves a note of what they did, easy to work with.
No issues!
