I was chatting with one of my marina neighbors this morning. He was telling me he just replaced one of his starters. I asked where he got it from and of course, the answer was the local NAPA.
I tried to tell him the dangers of using an auto starter but he was 100% positive there was no difference between the two. I knew I was talking to a brick wall, so I let it drop.
What could I have said to convince the guy he should have used a marine starter?
