Marinette expert

Hello all,

We bought our 1975 28' Marinette Express three years ago and have spent big $$$ on upgrades. Now, in order to get the right amount of coverage, the insurance companies (Boat US, Progressive, Geico) want a survey done before issuing a new quote. We live in Michigan and would like to find one that is familiar with Marinette aluminum boats.

Al Prisco is the resident BE surveyor and forum moderator, wonder why he hasn't responded by now, maybe he's busy. If nothing else, contact the surveyor organizations and emphasize the need for Marinette/aluminum experience.

Or, maybe post this in the ATC section.

Sorry its taken me this long to respond.. My mother inlaw has been having health problems. Sounds like Vics buddy would be a good one to talk with. You can also look up surveyors at the SAMS site and ask who is most savey in your area on aluminum boats. www.marinesurvey.org
