Membership Question...

Morning All,

I joined the forum a while ago, but this morning decided I wanted "full membership" so I paid my due and coughed up the $19.95....A bargain if you ask me, most of us would be willing to pay much more!!! But I don't seem able to do any additional functions like the search...ect....in fact nothing seems different at all....How long does it take for this stuff to take effect?

The price of steel has risen dramatically because of fuel prices and the fact that the Chinese are buying it up to make stuff for Walmart. The Patriot Act requires that all anchor making foundries get federal authorization to ship anchors domestically and do a background check of the purchasers. Luckily they've been unable to get into the NBR forum. However, the process does slow things down a bit.

Good news. The Anchor Truck arrived a few minutes ago. Apparently Walmart cancelled an order for 8 billion $59.95 riding lawnmowers so they had some extra steel. Everyone should be anchored up now. Wood, gold anchors are reserved - don't know for what.
