What should the mercathode look like. I know it is the plastic device on bottom of bell housing but I think and correct me if I am wrong the part on that plastic pieac that puts out the current is the metal clip on the face of the unit. What should this look like I am just doing a visual inspection of it and want to make sure it is not curroded or fouled up. This is on my 2001 boat.
