i recently did a tune up (replaced plugs, points, condensor and rotor) on my 1988 Mercruiser 3.0L. I had also done a lot of work over the winter on her (replaced gimbal bearing, repaired broken started bolt). Well, she's finally all back together and now when i run her, she seems to start fine and idle nicely humming right along. The problem is when i give her a a quick rev she'll bog down and stall out normally back firing when she stalls. I can bring her slowly up to a high rev with no problems (actually sounds pretty smooth) but when throwing her back down into nuetral (from a high rev) she just stalls out. Any ideas on the cause??
