My husband and I are very new boat owners. We just bought a 1984 Cobalt boat with the MerCruiser 260HP engine in it. We saw how to hook up a garden hose to the outboard part and run it. But we know there has to be a way to hook it up to the engine on the boat. We cant figure it out and our book doesnt tell us. We need to figure out if it needs a water pump or not. Can someone tell me WHERE to hook a garden hose up on this engine? A pic would be helpful! We are just starting to figure it all out, thanks! Stephanie
