So I tried the self-winterizing thing, and think I may have poured the pink stuff where I shouldn't. Open cooling system, EFI. I pulled the thermo housing off, and poured about 2 gallons in. I checked and it comes out the bottom drain plug - so far, so good. My mercruiser has two hoses coming out the thermostat to the bottom of the manifolds, but the distribution housing at the bottom of the engine has another hose that comes to the top, T's off to two more hoses that connect to the top of each manifold. I pulled these hoses and put in some more pink stuff until it started coming back out through the T hose from the distribution housing. Did I screw up by pouring into the hoses going to the top of the manifold? Should I be putting AF anywhere else since I pulled the thermo housing and poured in?
