Can someone tell me the purpose of this piece besides displaying the engine info? It covers the entire manifold section, which hinders spotting any potential leaks or issues, plus it seems to restrict air flow to the arrestor, and withhold heat off the intake manifold. What am I missing here? Can I take it off?
