1977 mercruiser outdrive leaks down rapidly without fluid loss. I had no problems with it holding pressure until I trimmed up at the dock,as normal, and watched the outdrive sink back into the water. The pump works fine and will fully lift without problem, until the button is released. Then it comes down in about 60 seconds.I don't know if there is a release for the hydraulics or not. Any suggestions would be great.
