During the process of re-installing my Alpha outdrives this past weekend, I noticed the starboard cylinder of the port drive was not working. Once both cylinders were hooked to the drive it trims up and down just fine. Apparently the port cylinder is able to handle the operation alone.
I didn't have time to troubleshoot further, so I figured I'd ask. Is this typical of a cylinder that just needs a rebuild, or likely something else? There no signs of external leakage, or anything else out of whack.
