1998 Merc 5.7 FWC w/B2 480hours

I have a twin stern drive 32'cruiser.
Here's the problem, After an 1 hour or so of cruising (3500-4200rpm) both engines oil presure drops to 20-25 psi. When first starting and running for 10-20 minutes 55-60 psi is typical.
I'm using the Merc recommended 25-40 oil and AC Delco oil filters. (tried various filters, no change) Engine temp is normal.
Should I try a different oil?
