Miami - Nantucket live on Webcam...

My brother in law is from that area. White Stone/Kilmarnock area. Last time we were there, we played golf
at a pretty nice place with a nice marina next to it. But I don't remember any names of the places. I just
remember there was a lot of boating in the summer time.

Methinks we will have a grumpy delivery Captain. At least he should be at least a little bit grumpy. Long day.

The webcam is down but from the current track Pascal appears to be heading for the Reedvill area tonight. It will be interesting to see where he choses for his anchorage.

His cam is up, I just looked at a bottle of what looks like suntan oil.

Looks like he landed at Fairport Marina for the night. Pascal get a well deserved rest!

yep... Regggata Point marina wasn't very honest about the depths there... so we skipped that and kept going. it was a little roughas the wind where 20-25 from the north and we got spray above the flybridge.

found a "slip" at Fairport marina in Reedville. Not a very well marked channel to run at night especially after a 15hr day! we're leaving shortly for Annapolis.

Are the pogy plants running in Reedville this time of year?
They just started last month over here.
They supposed to smell like money, but they don't to me.

If you are still on line, there is a good westerly blwin up here, so the closer you can stay to the western side coming up the smoother it will be. Showers for 6-7 tonight.
Have a safe day.

Pascal,

What's your plan after departing Annapolis? Available slips/anchorages are slim to none between the C&D Canal and Cape May, NJ so you'll either want to RON somewhere in the upper Bay or the C&D before going beyond Chesapeake City in the C&D.

Pascal, what are the plans for N. NJ; are you guys hitting Sandy Hook or Atlantic Highlands? Let me know if you need anything if you do. Its probably your last stop for cheap diesel as you head north.

Don't know what their ETA is for Annapolis but the winds will be picking up quite a bit this afternoon... as Dusty said, it should be better close to the western shore after they pass the Calvert Cliffs...

thks for the info guys. yes, last night was a little rough, we got sheets of spray over teh skylounge!

Reedsville was interesting, the plants were not running so no smell.. large fishing fleet with some large boats. Some colorful characters there :-) incl a guy leaving the marina bar on a lawn tractor swerving all over the place!

ETA annapolis is around 4pm. we're going to leave early tomorrow going to Cape May. If the weather is nice, which i doubt, we may run into the evening to atlantic city. forecast is a little iffy...

Diesel was only 3.99 at Reedsville but closed when we left... we'll shop around on the way up... how much is is in Sandy or highlands? or maybe north shore long island? any tip welcome, we're probably going to need around 1200/1300 gallons by then.

Finally at last getting video. Makes me wish there was sound.
Great viewing though. I missed all the canal portions with the bridges etc. Gotta go to another wake today so I'm gonna miss the afternoon episode.
Anybody know how much longer this Voyage is going to last?

Looks like the winds are going to turn SW gusting to 30 with an incoming tide as they approach Annapolis... Should be fairly comfortable

Okay.........Where is he now?......and what was that Land Mass on the Port side a few minutes ago?.....and WHY is he chasing that Sailboat?

Land mass was part of south Md. About 40 miles South of Annapolis, cause hes not in front of the sailboat.

This is where pascal should be tonight.

This shot shows the type of sailboat swarm outside the harbor that Pascal may have to thread through on the way into Annapolis.

So what "right of way" rule applies? tonnage or sailboat w/o power? [:-banghead]
