well, if anybody knows of anyone in need of a boat delivered... I'll keep the show going! :-) otherwise you guys will have to deal with boring ole biscayne bay for a while!

Today was actually a very busy workday for me, but I took a break to see the great journey.

I hope to catch some views of Newport, too, later in the week.
 
I wondered why such a good location had empty slips but that surge explains it.
 
it's not that bad, especially during the night where traffic slows down. it's a pretty small marina, there are only 12 slips... just big slips! the bulkhead is all used up by small sailboats for their sailing school. It is a great loacation. walking distance of Chinatown, little taly, wall st., greenwich, etc... just went for a walk to a bakery just north of Union Square.
 
We frequently tie up across the river at Liberty and take the water taxi over. All of the walks mentioned are well worth it. We have walked from there up to the Musuem of Natural History etc.. Don't forget the South Street seaport if you walk to China Town.
So you're coming up the Hudson for a Raft up right ;)

can't believe this is the end of may and i just had to turn the heat on up on the flybridge! 56deg inside!
 
It always warms up after july 4. now you know why so many New Yorkers move to FL. truly a fabulous place to boat from mid July thru mid September.
