Miami - Nantucket live on Webcam...

Ah, The Black Pearl. A stop of mine in RI.

Pascal, thanks a million for having us be part of the delivery of Nancy's boat. I'm sorry to see it come to an end...

Great photos. Beautiful boat / yacht.
Great looking couple. Pascal looks a little like the French Officer, Jean Villeneuve, in the movie "The Patriot". Was Nancy on this part of the trip?
How was the "Black Pearl"? I've been there a good number of times, and really like it. The admiral and I had lunch there with Steve Laurin (R.O. "True Blue") about a year and a half ago. The grilled Atlantic Halibut is terrific.

If Pascal, Naomi, and Nancy took some photos during the journey, it would be great to see them posted.

Beautiful vessel. I love that galley and dining area! This has been a fabulous thread and I'm sad to see it come to an end. By the time I return to my computer on Monday, the webcam will be packed away or back in Miami.

Thanks PascalG and all the other ROs who assisted to make this happen. Thanks, Nancy, for sharing your beautiful vessel with us!

Safe boating.

Thanks Pascal, Naomi and Nancy for the wonderful and informative trip. I'm sorry to see it end.

Now what will I do with my free time? I guess I'll have to take my own boat out....LOL

Hey wait.....if we all chip in, the R.O.'s can buy a boat and hire Pascal to take it on another adventure and pick up R.O.s as he passes by our locations.

What a ride that would be.......

Flutterby and y'all couldn't have said it better - a heartfelt thanks to Pascal, Nancy and Naomi for making all happen!
Cheers -

Agree... what a ride.

Naomi & Pascal..... If you ever want to come up in the summer to revisit some of these places in CT/RI My wife and I have room for you for a week trip.
Mark

Beautiful Saturday to head to Nantucket! Naomi here. Thank you Scott for your assistance and for the great pictures you posted. I hope to see you in Miami soon.

I've done trails in Hana, Kauai, Grenada, Nevis and other Caribbean Islands, the Cliff Walk was so amazing! I looked forward to doing it again with Pascal after stuffing myself with a delicious Shepherd's Pie at Black Pearl and then hauling 10 bails of oil up from the swim platform and then the old oil down the swim platform and then up from the dinghy and then up to the back of the cab, whew! My back is killing me! I've gained so much knowledge on this trip and will now be able to submit all my papers to the USCG for my 6-pak. I am grateful to Nancy for her hospitality and Pascal for his encouragement, skill and capabilities.

The end of this page sounds so sad...like the end of Gone With The Wind. Who says the trip and adventure has to end? We'll be in Nantucket until tomorrow and we might get a great view of all the Figawi racers coming in to the harbor. After that, well, we do have fun on Pascal's boat in Miami. Keep tuned in for a totally different view, especially on the weekends.

You know? I'm going to miss you! (sniff) (sniff)

Naomi

Thanks for a vicarious trip up the coast. I see the Vineyard on your starboard side and now I'm REALLY jealous.

Are these images all saved? If so they could be compiled into a video at 10+ frames per second.

no, i didnt' archive any pictures... but i have about 300 high res. pics i will upload in the next few days.

5 miles to go... 100+ sails behind us with the Fugawi approaching!

what do you want Naomi to sing? :-)

Be sure to have the local cold water sea scallops while there. They are the best I ever had but only if you can find actual local caught not imported stuff.

This armchair cruise has been great. I am going to miss following your journey.

Thanks All

Pascal, I just watched you pick up the mooring in Nantucket.
Thanks for the ride.

With the view that we are having at approximately 5 minutes of 2, we are well situated to see the finish of the Figawi Race as the 100+ sailboats round Brant Point.

Here are some images I captured as they entered Nantucket and moored:
