I heard mention of this over the weekend at fairlee creek but didn't catch any details. Any truth? I haven't had the boat down to middle river yet - I'd be coming from Bush River. Any details on this or the best place to anchor the boat would be?

Thanks!

The annual Norris Lane Foundation Dinghy Poker run is this weekend. It is about 350 dinghys with as many people you feel comfortable with armed with water bazookas, 5 gal. buckets etc. driving around the 6 MPH zone of Middle River trying to drench each other in between stops for food and beverage. Anywhere within the 6MPH zone will afford a view. The run will leave from Parkside Marina around 1:00 and return about 5:00. Stops could include Riverwatch, Carson Creekside, Wild Duck. Last year was our first time to participate and it was a blast.

Thanks for the reply. I googled it and found the website - it appears that the registration is closed. Too bad, I would have liked to participate! Are you guys in it?

Yep, been in it the last few years and it is a not to miss. Keep tabs on it an try to get in for next year. We keep our boat at Parkside but there a lot of our friends end up anchoring out on Frog Mortar Creek for Friday night and Saturday. It is a good time for a good cause.
