90 HP Merc outboard. I was getting the boat ready to take out, fired it up and let it run a bit without the prop on. Put the prop on and torqued it down, then looked at the diagram in the FSM which showed a thrust washer on the shaft behind the prop. Well, I do not have one, but seem to remember having one. I just called dealership and they verfied I need one. Have I done any damage by putting the prop on without it? I have not run the boat at all like it is.
