Have a soft spot on bow near one of my hatches.. Im assuming the core is rotting.. I know there are many ways of fixing this and was wondering if anyone knew some one good and reasonable..
Mike,
You also want to find out why this happened and fix that so it does not happen again. In other words, how did the water get to the core, bow rail, cleat, window, etc.
I am guessing its the hatch since its soft near that. Probably has to come out and be re-seated.
Hopefully you don't have to take off the headliner inside.
Since it's not below the waterline, it's not critical but still should be fixed right.
I don't think you will need that, once you open up the area, follow the core all around the area till yo get to dry coring, one of those soft spots should point to where the water got in (hatch, cleat, window, bow rail etc).
If yo are going to do this in the spring, I will come by and look at it for you.
