Hello All,

Im a new boat owner. Im starting to realize keeping the boat clean is a challenge. Its not like a car you can just take to the car wash.

Do you guys use mobile boat cleaning services or do you clean your boat yourself?

Can you recommend a boat cleaning service in the East Bay? Martinez Marina area?

Thanks,
Wayne

I have a good detailer on Bethel Island. She will travel. Penny 925-684-0741 I've been using her for over 5 years. Tell her Liz recommended her to you and I'll get a free boat wash!

Wayne,

I'm a new boat owner myself. I use Fisher Enterprises (925-778-8346). They are in Antioch and go to all the marinas in the area. They do the washing and detailing for the PGE & Murant Energy "Boat Wash" programs at marinas close to power plants (free monthly wash & annual detail), but i have used them on my own. I was impressed with their attitude, quality of work, and very reasonable price.

I've also heard good things about Flutterby's person.

I'm not sure if your marina is part of the Boat Wash program, but if there are any active smoke stacks nearby, you may be.

Great info. I will probably have to call the harbor master to see if Martinez Marina is part of the PGE Boat Wash program. If so that would be great.
