here is another example of a beautiful boat where the designers completley forgot about how owners will get to the bow...
Mochi Craft 44 featured in the current issue of PMY. it as as gorgeous as a Ferrari, great lines and all but i can't figure out how you're supposed to step on the side decks ! even if you step up on the cushions... the side decks tapers toward the stern where all you have is the teak caprail. The curved house sides are in the way too...
The PMY review doens't mention this little details, the author drools over the 13" LCD TV and dvd player but i guess never tried to go to the bow. "his only gripe" is the tiny galley...
i think i know why these guys never criticize the boats they test... they get paid to travel and spend a day on the water playing with boats they coudln't afford otherwise, how can they be fair and balanced ?
