Models discontinued

I stopped by the local showroom today and was told that the 36MY and 40MY are discontinued. I had not heard a rumor of this before now. The salesman said that Carver has completely new models that will be replacements. There is no info on the Carver website or elsewhere that I could find. This has me curious. Is there any info out there?
