I have a 2002 8.1 Gi, raw water cooled. Engine came standard with a fresh water flush, mounted on the engine, port side. I never used it mainly because of the PIA to remove carpet, remove engine hatch and then connect hose to flush. My question is has anyone ever modified this to where they ran a hose out to the transom and put a permanent flush fitting there? Guess I should have taken the time to do because now I'm replacing risers and manifolds.
