I have both my kids with me on vacation this year as well as my daughter's boyfriend I got the idea I would charter a fishing boat for a half day trip we hada blast!
Everyone caught at least one Stripers as big as 47.4 lbs t a t one was my wife's catch. We caught a total of 7 stripers and 3 blues that is a **** load of fish even after it is cleaned. The mate told us about a place called Wok and Roll you bring them your fish and they cook the for you. This was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten! We brought 4.5 lbs which only leaves us about another 40 lbs which my daughter's boyfriend will bring home in the morning and freeze. I kept another single 3 lb filet on board for diner another night during the trip.
I highly recommended this outing I hired the "My Mate" fishing boat out of MYC they were great not cheap but well worth the money!
 
Was Captain McBride on board? I am very good friends with his son, and know him, as well.
 
The striped bass fishing off Montauk has been great this year, glad you had a good trip! I like Wok and Roll also, that reminds me, we haven't been there yet this year.
 
Mike I don't know the captains last name but his first name was Pete, nice guy we had a great time! I will be eating fish for months, my daughters boyfriend brought home the catch and vacuum pack then then froze them.

My Uncle has been fishing out there one or two days a week all season. I've been getting some great filets from him every week.
