Thanks to all, we did an ad hoc this week had a problem with boarding the dog so had to hang around till Monday. All good so far, met up with friends on Sunday at Zachs and watched the fun going on at aquapaluza without being 'tied up' all day. Monday afternoon we headed east and made it to Sailors Haven well before the rains came, the palce was really empty when we arrived so we stayed. Hung there on Tuesday and then came over to Seaview which is where we are now. Had a problem with my hot water heater, went to check in on the kids in the mid cabin tuesday and found the mattress was wet allong the bulkhead wall. Ofcourse I blamed one of them for not making it to the bathroom in time but it was too wet even for them. Could not figure it out but thought it was the fresh water pump leaking but when I got to Seaview it turned I found that it was the raw water nipple from the engine on the hot water tank had begun to corrode. Removed them and spliced them together with a garden hose mending adpator formt he hardware stroe in town. Called Seaward products this afternoon to figure out if it could be serviced but unfortunately there is no option but to replace. However, they did offer to sell me a replacement tank at cost and I shoudl have it by next week which is more than I could ever expect.
