More Global Warming on Great Lakes

rtribble,
That is the European Space agency website not a Cyrosat site.
Did you note that their display of ice stops at 2007? Wonder why it's not updated?

The information I posted is for the fall of 2013 which shows a significant recovery contrary to the prediction by the 2008 video showing the foolish claims that the Arctic might be ice free by 2013 (FYI that was last fall).
The other link you provided discussed a 2009 government propaganda report to convince you to support Cap and Trade or Carbon taxes. Do you?
As GeeBee eloquently said "...do you think a government that wants more and more power will tell us that there is no climate change ...)
Did you look at the video or any other links I sent you?

The last video I posted above is titled "ESA CryoSat Animation of Arctic Sea Ice Thickness 2010-2013

So rtribble, how do you explain that the ice is further south and deeper in Greenland than I have ever seen it and when did I last see it? Yesterday! Oh and why do they call it "Greenland"?

Here's another nice video on Greenlands ice melt.

rtribble,
Do you realize that you are now posting the same plots that I posted earlier?
Do you look at any of the links I provide?

GeeBee is right.
Check out this URL which shows Greenland melt as of Dec. 31st 2013. How much melting do you see?

Here is the full link to what you posted.(same source) It is for the 2013 year.

And again here. Again for the 2013 year.

Not a smidgeon of melt- Really?

Heres is another link taken from that link for the ice melt. This is for the year 2012.

rtribble,
GeeBee flew over "yesterday", I posted an URL that showed not a smidgen of melt on Dec 31st 2013 which is the latest available that I could find. Do you have a more recent one showing melt since then?
Your post shows springtime melt. GeeBee was correct, as usual you try to distort the discussion with diversions like fake URL's which also distort the facts.
Did you ever look at the post for Dec 31,2013?

In the context you now present it one could conclude that at the very instant that GeeBee was flying over Greenland that for that one instant in time the measurable melt loss in Greenland would be imposible to measure.
But to infer that Greenland has not incured any meaningfull measurable ice melt during the 2013 year would be incorect.
To make your statement "check out this URL which shows Greenland melt as of Dec. 31st 2013." match what you are now claiming you should probably edit it to say "on Dec. 31st 2013".
Really not much of a point though when you want to narrow the Ice melt in Greenland down to just that one point in time on that one day of Dec. 31 2013.

Tribble, you have to be as thick as a box of rocks to not get it by now. I will attempt one last time. It is not about whether you believe in climate change, it I is whether you think man is the cause.

About 800 years ago the Vikings where farming Greenland and making beer there. How is it possible that the world was not flooded because of rising sea levels? That happened during the MWP or Midevil Warming Period. Greenland was actually warm enough at the time that it did not even have a layer of perma frost. I think one could reasonable surmise that much of the arctic also had a reduced ice pack. So from 800-1200 AD, who was putting all the green house gases in the air to cause that warming trend? And by about 1200AD they abandoned Greenland because they ice pack started to overrun and the time the ground spent frozen as lasting longer and longer.

What about the dust bowl of the 1930? What caused the drought and soaring temps? Why did the Dakotas see temps over 100 degrees?

Our world climate is cyclic tribble. I know the media does not want you to get that because they can't sell you anything that is The NoRM. Supposed "climatologists" can't either. And more importantly, the governments of the world can not take more control of their peasants lives. Are you a peasant tribble?

Exactly correct. It was called "Greenland" because the damn thing was green! Lush!. The garbage pits prove what they were doing and what was written about it. Not much in the way of greenhouse gasses back then!

Hey rtribble, I did not pass over Greenland once, just yesterday. I pass over it 3 times a month for the last 10 years. I can even tell you what individual glaciers are doing. Let me tell you, on Tuesday that place was an ice rock, some of the heaviest pack I've ever seen.

Peasant thinking hell! Slave mentality.
