Who says sailing has to be hard work?

is she navigating with that Ipad.... fur shame fur shame! Very envious. Even middle Tennessee is buckling down for snow tomorrow night. Stupid groundhog.

Beautiful sunsets and lovely sailboat. What make, year, etc.? Gorgeous job on the cabin door.

Thanks for the link...I'm sure I followed the thread at the time. A lot of the links to the photos are not presently working. Anyway, I've just skimmed it again...did you design the boat? It has a lot of similarities to my dad's Stone Horse. What a great project and beautiful outcome.

Yeah I litteraly started with a blank sheet of paper although the hull shape is inspired by various Herreshoffs (fish, alerion, Sadie etc). The construction is completely different obviously

That's really cool. She sails and handles well? Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently?

Not really. Call it beginners luck but she came out pretty much how I wanted her to look and sail.

I was expecting a few days of tweaking and adjustment but she sailed well out of the box. Had a big lump in the stomach when we raised the sail for the first time she accelerated nicely and we stayed out a couple of hours. I only add to shift one block on the gaff to get rid of a small wrinkle on the sail

What would i do differently? Build her 10' longer :) seriously maybe eliminate the centerboard which doesn't deally make a big difference as the show full keep is enough to point pretty well

It's been just over a year now and we put a lot of hours on her. If the sails had an hour meter I'm guessing 500 hours in the past year.

She looks great Pascal - came out fantastic! Out of curiosity, what do you have for tunes on the iPad?
