Most state native game fish face extinction

The article says by the end of the century....so you still have time to go catch a salmon or two when they reopen the fishery. But maybe you should rent the equipment instead of purchasing.....

I've been salmon fishing several times and, to me, the only thing that beats that is albacore fishing!
 
Flutterby, I bought a 4 pack of wild sockeye salmon at Costco today, $3.50 per can. I will work on my salmon bisque and salmon with tortelini so when we have a potluck it will be delicious. I want to try to imitate that lobster bisque that I had at the Tasting Room in Frederick MD, I know it had sherry but I think it had something else unique maybe a touch of saffron. DD
