Now, I've done a few engine R&R but I'm getting stuck on the order of assembly of the rear mount washers and spacers.
The actual order of assembly in the book says:
Bolt
Metal washer
Spacer
Fiber washer
Double wound washer
I have the fiber washer and double wound washer between the transom mounts and the coupler housing(bell housing) mounts. The thing is, the bravo motor mounts(rubber and metal inserts) hang down about 3/8" so the double wound washer is holding the engine up and the fiber washer just flops around under there.
Are these washers in the right order and in the right position?
