I want to mount a 22" LED TV to a 25' Maxum. Could I ask for some advice on what to look out for or best ways to mount it. Obviously nervous about drilling through Fiberglass that might be too thin or interfering with other items behind the mount area. Should I use "molly-type" screws through the wall area? Or just make sure I am through to other side and use extra washers? Area is just inside cabin door area immediately to the right of door. How do I know mounting area is strong enough for 22" LED TV. Thanks in advance for any advice. Rich

Rich,
Sent you a PM about the Jones beach question, send me a link and I will update.

Also, I put two flat screen TVs on the boat, forgot how to answer your question, but will look at your boat for you and tell you exactly what to do, how to do it and what you will need. PS, every boat is different so there is no generic answer.
also again :) , buy the mounts on line, they are 1/4 the cost than if you buy from a store.

Rich,
Call Bill at ADMIRALTY Marine Electronics.
631-258-6912, I'll be happy to install the TV for you. Are you interested in a satellite dish as well or just a TV install?

ADM
I may be interested in having you install Satellite on my new Silverton 45C. My leg is still messed up otherwise I would do it myself as I have done in the past. I will be buying the Intellian i2 US Satellite TV System 1 1,999.00 1,999.00
Out-of-state sale, exempt.

Is this doable for you and if so how much???

Thanks

PS,
You need to let us all know what you do, commercial listings are not allowed here, but knowing a member that is in the business certainly can help us all here. We just can't have conflicts with what Les sells on BoatFix

The wall I want to mount it on, has the bathroom wall on the other side of it. I obviously don't want to puncture that waterproof "hard plastic-type" wall. I wanted to know if anyone knew how much space there was between both walls (if any). Thanks, Admiralty, for the offer, but I would really rather install myself if possible. I have the TV and the mount already. Thanks to all for advice.

An alternative to screws might be to use epoxy to attach the mount baseplate. You could use duct tape to hold the mount in place while the epoxy sets, or if you get one of the quick setting epoxies you could hold it in place while the glue sets up to the point where it will hold. Most epoxies require 24 hours to attain full bond strength so mount the TV a day later.
