His boat is a 33 Galaxy sail boat kept at Fort Rachael Marina in Mystic CT. He lives in Old Saybrook.
He's looking for one or two people Male or Female with some sailing / boating experience to go sailing with. His long time sailing buddy is only available about 1 or 2 weekends a month and our season in CT. is short enough.
My father has been sailing for 80 years and is an excellent sailor and races every Wed. Night. Looking for crew for racing also.
He's really nice guy who is very easy going, not bossy and loves sailing for sailing. No anchors to haul there is a windlass, sails need to be hoisted and share the sailing. (He likes to nap in the sun while enjoying the hell out of a nice sail to Block Island, Watch Hill, West Harbor, Montauk etc.
He may put the boat up for sale at the end of this season and just boat with me as its easier for him to get around on my 34' Sea Ray than it is on his sail boat.
So this boat can be sailed for a year or two with the option for his sailing buddy's to have first shot on buying the boat at a great price.
My father drives, and owns his own car & boat. We have a 10'ft inflatable with a Honda OB to go into shore with. You must be non smoker, social drinker, honest and helpful. The only expenses shared will be food and drink when you go for the weekend.
This is a no strings attached offer and it is what it is, just a couple of people who love sailing, the water getting together while it lasts.
