Mystic Conn or any place else

Guys ,
Im looking for a great place to go prior to Blk island ... We were thinking mystic and wanted to know which place would be best. I heard one of the marina's is adj to the aquarium. LEt me know

Rob, if you would like a very pretty protected place, but with not whole lot to do, try Fishers Island YC. Good for a one or two night stay and its just south of Mystic River.

Was just there a few weeks ago with Dave and Walter. The aquarium is inland so there isn't anything "next" to it. You can get close to or stay at the Seaport which is probably a long walk or a short cab ride away.

We stayed at Mystic River Marina which was ok but not close to anything. $10 cab rides to go anywhere. Since it was my first time there, I can't give a recommendation on any of the marinas that are closer to the Seaport.

We usually make Montauk a stop on the way out there or on the way back.
 
The seaport is full. so is brewers. Theres mystic shipyard that has a pool... thats what i know so far... anybody know how the ship yard is....

August 9th to 11th with another boat. Then we go to Block and Westport.

If we can get in that is ( mystic )

The Seaport is a long walk to the aquarium and it's the closest marina to it. Everything else would be a cab ride away I'd say. Haven't been to any of the other marinas besides the Seaport.
 
Well plans changed... Looks like American Wharf ... Alittle gambling .. Then Blk and westport.

Then back To riverhead....

What's in Westport? Don't think I've heard that mentioned before.
