Navigating GSB: Fire Island Inlet to Ocean Beach?

Any seasonal shoaling or concerns I should be aware of while heading towards Ocean Beach?

I had some tricky moments two years ago near CapTree (at the junction of the buoys) as I stayed towards the north after passing under the Robert Moses Bridge.

Everything open through there if I stay to the south this time?
