Can anyone tell me how good the real close-up detail of the gold XL3 charts? I'm thinking about the west coast/hawaii chart. We have some very narrow channels running into some of the marinas and rivers in the SF bay. I was very disappointed in the classic chart series in this aspect.
Also, is there any difference in detail between the west coast/hawwaii XL3 chart and some of the smaller coverage XL3 charts covering the west coast.
