Stuff Happens! Port Engine cuts out while underway ,secure vessel and clean out screen of fuel lift pump...Engine runs and cuts out again.check lines and decide that the problem is in the fuel return.
being in a hurry some crap must have passed through..
Climbing out of engine room ,miss step and fall on my BUTT. Now if anybody can recommend a diesel mechanic for me I would appreciate it as NOW I can only sit on my BUTT and only pay for help!
She is a 135 hp Perkins straight 6 .
Now that I'm Getting on in age , will require me to get a single deck boat that will not have me to bend down in the engine room to service 3 diesel engines ...1 will be enough!
 
Sent a note tonight over to my diesel mechanic there...Jamie Roberts...he's in the Boca/Deerfield area. Great with Cummins/Cat...I'll let you know what I hear tomorrow...

Jamie was our mechanic on our Maxum 4100 and I can't speak more highly of him and was very happy with his work on our boat, both mechanical plus some electrical he
did for us...

Jamie is a gem of a Diesel Mechanic , He was not familiar with Perkins persay but was able to TEACH me things that were necessary .
Also he spoke very highly of y'all.
