Just bought a house on the water in West Palm Beach and need help with the dock layout. Wanting to dock a 43 ft Tiara with a 15 ft beam against a seawall dock. The boat is 50 ft overall with a distance of 44 feet between the bow and stern cleats. Is there a rule of thumb as to how far apart the bow and stern poles on the outboard side should be? Need help because my knuckleheaded marine contractor can't seem to figure it out.
