John, what inlet is that for Beach Heaven Yacht club?

Sounds interesting.

...and, nice job on editing my first post, I like it!!

As Dominic said either Barneget or Little Egg inlet would be fine. Although on an outgoing tide and given a choice I'd take Little Egg. I remember coming in Barnegat Inlet with my 23' a number of years ago and having to use WOT just to maintain any headway at all. Little Egg is a much wider inlet. Like most inlets neither has marked channels on the charts as they move frequently but you'll be fine.

I've never been able to stay at Morrisons. Every time I've tired they didn't have space. Seems they only have a few transient slips.

As for the edit I thought I could do it invisibly but alas I got caught! :)

As for the beer....Barnegat Ligours....good friend of mine is the owner....He's also a boater...maybe we can work out a delivery.... ;)

To Tall????

Beach Haven Yacht Club is nice. We stayed there 2 years ago and had a blast. Friday nights the marina is active with the residents. There is a beer store around the corner as well as some good restaurants. The beach is about a 3 block walk.

We also stayed at Trump Marina - it was very nice but not allot for kids. You can take the Jitney to the beach though. Same with Belmar - nice marina nothing to do but beach.

Point Pleasant is always nice but hard to find a slip. We used to stay at Crystal Point Yacht Club but is usually full with no transient slips and you need a taxi to the beach/boardwalk.

Trump is okay for a day or 2 stopover. Kids can hang in the pool and game room, or take the jitney over to the boardwalk and hang on the beach.

A bit pricey, I think the rates went over $4 per foot last summer but very clean -a plus room service to your slip.
