need starter

I need a starter for my port engine ( 85 mariner 36 w/454 ).
Who can tell me if its LH or RH ?

Mine says so on the engine and in the manual (but I am not there to see either)... check there.

The crusaider manual says the normal practice is to turn the props outboard, so my port motor would be a left hand rotation motor.. The boat is 2 hours away and I want to order the part.. Going to take a chance.. if I'm wrong, I'm sure the other one will be needed before long
