Hello all...first post...first time on board. Have been reading up on the I/O vs OB debate and I'm torn between the two, I have read up on the advantages and disadvantages of both but I was wondering what the forum would think better matches the boat I'm looking at and the type of fishing I'll be doing.
Looking at the 19' Tahoe 195...deck boat. Comes with a 4.3L MPI 190HP V-6 I/O or a 150 Optimax OB. I'll be doing strictly freshwater fishing/skiing in the lakes around here...so saltwater corrosion shouldn't be an issue. Also may be able to fit it into my garage so length of OB vs I/O may be an issue. Also I was wondering if winterizing it would be different if I keep it in my garage. Winters in Texas don't get very low...maybe mid 30's but garage temps wouldn't get near that low...any advice?
