I need your opinions please. 2 months ago I purchased a Larson 274 Cabrio from a dealer here in Florida. We really like the boat but even the day I purchased it I knew I would want to upgrade soon to the 310. Well as I at the dealer getting something off my boat (it is also stored their) the owner of the marina comes over to me and says you still interested in a 310? I said depends on what you have got. He said come with me, took me to a boat that had just come in and was still shrink wrapped. He got one of his guys to cut the wrap and behold a brand new 310. We look it over and as we go down into the cabin, I notice the cabinets are different, much nicer than the 2006, I say, how come the difference in cabinets, he said this is a 2004. A 2004???? He said yes, it was a dealer in Chicago that went bankrupt and Larson had to take the boat back and my dealer bought 2 of them, sold one already and has this one. So here is the deal, a 2004, brand new, all warranty, twin Merc 300's with Bravo III, boat has GPS, VHF, Radar Arch, Halon Sys,Genset, Windless,TV, DVD amd a whole slew of other options. the Boat is really beautiful and the boat does have zero hours. He is offering me the boat at 110,000 plus giving me back my entire contract purchase price on my 274 to the penny. My real question here is should I be scared about the 2004 since it is almost 3 model years old but still new? I did an NADA value on a used 310 for 2004 and it came out at just over 110,000. So initially it looks good but I need to know what all of you think. Please let me know what you think. Thanks
