I made them from "SCRATCH". If I had to do it again...I saw "support Poles " for Bimini tops in a boating catalog (Overtons I think) . I would buy those and cut them down to the length I want and put the "Quick Disconnect" Regal style fitting on the cut down poles. I think I got the quick disconnect fitting from Overtons also. Good Luck.
When its lowered, I bought a general purpose boat cover that goes over everything. Its been working great since 2005.
The mooring cover underneath provides the support for the outer cover. The boat stays clean and no wear n tear on the mooring cover.
