A/C unit runs well, cooling water flow is good, thermostadt functional.
Based on previous threads I made sure the condensation on the unit has somewhere to go and I bleached the pan to remove any odor causing slime.
Problem is it still seems to cool yet not remove most of the humidity. Also, after a while, it gets an odd smell somewhere between fuel and chlorine. I assume it is a closed system (recooling the same air continually)?
It is located in a closet that shares all the wires to and from the engine room - could it be pulling fumes from the engine room or from the fuel vents?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers and happy Friday
