It's been a long search! But we finally got ourselves an aft cabin boat that we are very excited about! I'm obviously sharing pictures that make it look pretty decent, but we will have our hands full with projects. As in, our project list is several notebook pages long LOL... Thankfully it is in heated indoor storage and we hope to make some serious progress this winter... We're thinking after 2-3 years, it will be in really good shape. We were amazed at how much this Tollycraft packed into a 34' hull, without compromising practicality, safety, or elegant lines. I was pretty convinced that I wanted a Hatteras, and we almost purchased a 38 FBMY, but it failed my (own) pre-survey inspection. This boat, although the noticeable state of abandonment was off-putting at first, really offered a rare opportunity to get everything we wanted in a smaller package. And, after several rounds of negotiation, both pre and post survey, we pulled the trigger. We're on the fence about keeping the Tiara through at least part of next season... we'll see how things are going! For now, I guess we own two boats.

Looks like it will provide some really good times. Enjoy and good luck!

The pictures sure make it look nice, so it'll be amazing after you knock out your projects!

Congratulations Ernesto, enjoy the new toy...

Check out Searching for C-shell on You Tube. They have a bigger version (44 I think) and have a few project videos you may be interested in.

Yes, I actually exchanged a couple messages with Sheldon before closing. I "met" him here probably back in '07 or '08 and we've been talking boats on and off since then... back when he was then working on their 34' Tolly (the sedan version of this hull and their "original" C-Shel) and I was buying the Tiara. It's amazing how time flies.
Lots of connections made here on BEd.

Beautiful classic lines! Really nice to have a lower helm. I look forward to seeing/hearing about your projects!

It looks in good shape except for the helm seat. But no pictures of the engine bay. What list of projects will take 2-3 years?
