Because of problems finding a local shop to sew and install a new top I decided to purchase one from the factory. That requires I install the snaps in the material to match the ones already on the boat. Now I need to determine the best method and am unsure how much slack is needed to insure fabric shrinkage will not soon leave me with snaps that no longer reach. Yet at the same time I don't want the top sloppy and wrinkled for evermore. Is there anyone with advice here?
